Ann Coulter "Shame on you!"
It amazes me how Ms. Coulter would criticize Michelle Obama for her style and appearance. Has Ms. Coulter stooped so low that this is all she can come up with or could it be she has been attached by the green eyed monster, yes I mean the J word as in Jealousy? Let's take notes. Before Married to Barrack Michelle Robinson majored in sociology at Princeton University, graduating with c*** laude honors in 1985. From there she attended Harvard where she earned her law degree in 1988. Michelle's impressive resume includes: Former associate dean at the University of Chicago; a member of six boards of directors including the prestigious Chicago Council on Global Affairs, the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools and Tree House Foods; and Vice President, Community and External Affairs at the University of Chicago Hospitals. In this position she was responsible for all programs and initiatives that involve the relationships between the hospitals and the community as well as management of the hospitals' business diversity program. Now I would consider that to be quite a resume and one I'm sure any sane person would stand up and applaud. Coulter mentions in her new book Guilty: the following about Mrs. Obama "Her obvious imitation of Jackie O's style - the flipped-under hair, the sleeveless A-line dresses, the short strands of fake pearls - would have been laughable if done by anyone other than a media-designated saint." Being a lady of fashion myself, I stand up and applaud Michelle Obama for looking young and vibrant, dressing professional and stylish.
With America facing such difficult times our new first lady has a full plate and responsibilities beyond anyone's imagination. I rally behind Mr. And Mrs. Obama and their family in this time of peril and frankly I am ashamed and embarrassed for Coulter. Obviously she could not find fault and discredit Obama so she took the low road and stooped to an all time low. Coulter facetiously and snidely refers to Michelle Obama as a "saint" and "Mother Teresa" and suggests that her public service career "advanced in lockstep with the political advancement of her husband." As you can see by the credits of Michelle Obama, she was well established before meeting her husband and quite an impressive resume. And regarding her snide comments referring to Michelle Obama as a saint and mother Teresa. I say yes, you got that right! For anyone to take on a position as Mrs. Obama has, I would say she is certainly a saint! Ann Coulter, it's time you put aside your female caddy jealousy and support our First Lady!

We Need a President Who Would Take a Shoe to the Face!
While speaking to a group of college men and women I listened to what they had to say about the, ducking of the shoe. One young man said, "What a coward, did you see how Bush ducked the shoe?" And I asked what was he to do? A karate move would have been good, the ole one two, throw that shoe to the ground! I then said, "The shoe came pretty fast, I'm not sure if he had time to give the ole one two." Emphatically he spoke up, "Then he should have taken it to the face! Only a coward would duck and that's what we've had for 8 years, a coward for a president who ducks! "We need a President who will take a shoe to the face and I think we have one now!"

most people applauded the shoe incident I sat for a second and reflected back 8 years. I had to wonder "What if?" I remember thinking back to a time when I watched the many debates and cheered o n Al Gore while everyone in the room stood behind and routed for George Bush Jr. The majority of the people were so secure with the man behind their vote they would not listen to an opposing word and wou ld not discuss the subject. Then 911! What was a President to do? As I watched in horror and express ed my dissatisfaction with "Charging in" without, what I considered to be a plan, my friends and colleagues still routed for the man behind the greatest office in the land. Several young men and women marched off to war, (many never to return home) and I thought, please someone "Stop this madness!" By this time 4 years was coming to an end and I gave a sigh as I thought, "Finally!" That said I watched Bush Jr. take the Presidential seat yet once again. When I spoke with the many people who voted for the man not once but twice, I asked "Why?" I never received an answer worth repeating but only watched as more than half of America defended A President who in my opinion was bringing down my country. These are now the people who applauded the "shoe to the face of our Commander and Chief." Was it right for the people who once defended and elected the man behind the shoe to desert him now?
